The Indiana Fire Investigation Task Force is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2022. The Task Force was created in part by combining the memberships of the Central Indiana Fire Investigation Task Force and Marion County Arson Task Force. Our vision is to strengthen the working relationships between public agencies, private entities, and stakeholders and to provide quality training and education to our membership. We accomplish this by conducting regular meetings, each with a specific training component. Training sessions align with the requirements of NFPA 1033 in order to ensure that investigators stay current with applicable job performance requirements and requisite knowledge related to fire investigations.
